Marzanna, the Slavic goddess of snow and sickness, was bound into a porcelain cybernetic vessel known as PROJECT MRZ-1. As the planet overheated, scientists sought to harness her power to restore balance. Now she walks the world once more, bringing the cycle of winter wherever it is needed.

The myth of Mermaids remains strong in the mortal world, which is why they are still frequent guests in sailors’ tales.
One of them, however, is different…
After a horrific accident, she was lucky enough to be rescued by scientists whose mission is real and sincere. Now she helps the scientists in gratitude for saving her and collects various samples, transporting them in special containers built into her new tail.
However, bearing in mind human nature and what was happening to Mermaids in the past, she did not give them her name, nor did she ever allow them to lay their hands on her mirror, without which she would not be able to return to the depths.
Now a new threat has appeared on the horizon… what is this strange, odd-looking fish? Why is it reacting to her? To Mermaids?
You’ll find out in the next episode of “Deep Sea Adventurer”!
(Transparency was added to ORM because Marmoset changes the alpha attached to Base Colour to sRGB, which looks strange… And since ORM is not sRGB, but Grayscale, it fits.)
More detailed journey can be found in my WIP thread - Mermaid

Thank you for your attention, that’s all
Thank you also for all your likes and advice, which were very helpful in achieving the final result.
I learned few new tricks and to pay attention to things I hadn’t noticed before.
El Silbón is a legendary ghost from the plains of Venezuela and Colombia, especially associated with the Llanos region. According to the story, he is the restless spirit of a young man who murdered his father and was cursed to wander the countryside forever carrying a sack of bones. People say his eerie whistle travels through the night in a strange way. If it sounds close, he may actually be far away, but if it sounds distant, he could be right behind you. In many versions of the legend, El Silbón appears to travelers or drunk men late at night, and his haunting whistle warns of danger or death. The tale is often told to frighten listeners and to remind people to respect their families and avoid bad behavior.
High-Tech Future El Silbón:
As time marched forward, the spirit of El Silbón found ways to evolve as the world became increasingly driven by technology. Over the years, many of his victims have left behind cybernetic parts such as legs, arms, and sensors. El Silbón is able to repurpose this technology for himself, using it to upgrade his spectral body and enhance his hunting abilities, allowing him to carry on his curse for centuries to come. He continues to roam endlessly in search of those who behave badly, reminding them with his chilling whistle that he is still out there and that people should respect their families and avoid bad behavior.

Well I am finishing up my submission right now and I’ll start with some breakdowns on her specs and then post her renders and then finally her textures and wireframe at the end.
A quick breakdown of the inspiration for the piece, it’s based off the myth of “The Morrigan” She is a warrior goddess who can be represented by 3 different aspects. The Warrior, The Queen, and The Crone. I wanted to connect with her Warrior aspect and turned her into this cyberpunk inspired character. I went pretty classic with the cyberpunk aesthetic and just wanted to have some fun with her.
For her textures I used 2 4096x4096 maps. within those maps I have Albedo, a SRM texture for sub surface scattering, roughness and metalness, and an emissive map that I baked out.
Her polycount sits at around 49,500, was aiming sub 50k for this style of character which was inspired by the larger shapes of something like overwatch with a bit more noise detail on her.
As far as software to create the entire piece it was largely Zbrush, I did a little bit of cloth sim for her sleeves to get the bunching up and a little on the back of her legs but 99% of this was just sculpted by hand over the past month. Was a really fun model to sculpt even though I was rushed at the end.
Hi everyone, this is my first Flipped Normals challenge! I have a lot to learn in sculpting and participating was a challenge, I really enjoyed the research process and put together a reference collage and chose the Aztec god Xolotl.
A valkyrie or shieldmaiden in Norse mythology, she was one of the most notable valkyrie among her sisters of battle, not only for her rank but also for her romantic stories.
I tried to give her some Warhammer, where technology is really close with myths and religion. I think the character fits well in that kind of universe.

I don´t Know how to upload to sketchfab but i can send the files if needed.
Yama, a deity from Hindu and Buddhist mythology, is depicted as the first human to die, showing the way to the underworld for all others. In mythology, it is said that he dies every month and comes back to life after three days, repeating this cycle each time. He is the one who judges every soul that enters his realm.
He is often depicted with his staff, also known as a danda, as well as his axe.
In my interpretation of the god, I chose to portray him as an imposing figure with a slightly menacing aura. Even in the near future, he remains subject to this endless cycle of life and death. However, with each resurrection, he returns with a little less of himself—a little less humanity each time, some might say.
Thank you for the feedback and the chance to participate in this event. This was a major stepping stone for me as a character Artist and seeing everyone’s work inspired me to carry on in my journey.
Artemis is the ancient Greek goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, the moon, and chastity. Daughter of Zeus and Leto and twin sister to Apollo, she was a major Olympian deity known as a fiercely independent virgin goddess who protected young girls and oversaw childbirth. She is often depicted with a silver bow and arrows, accompanied by deer.
The idea was to create a modern version of the goddess. A god in a postmodern and hyper-technological world where the humans worship modernity and technology over everything else. Final Shot :
I ended up joining the challenge late in the game, but I had a lot of fun producing this character and really enjoyed the whole process of participating in this event. Thank you so much to everyone involved.

He’s a king of the fomorians, a kind of supernatural race in irish mythology. He’s depicted as having an eye with some powers which he uses as a weapon to oppose the gods of the tuatha de danann.**
**
It seems like his eye was his main weapon and I wanted to create a character that had more ways to attack as i was imagining a boss enemy so i took from his lore that he had a grandson that killed him with a moniker “long armed” and gave it long arms, and since it was gonna have long arms, i gave it wheels instead of feet so it can glide and swipe with the arms. i gave it a floating head so it could shoot stuff in certain directions without being constrained by the body.
I had fun.
never did a robot before, and it was tough iterating on the design, but i can say that im proud of the end result.
Cheers guys, i liked looking at your updates and learning from them, and with that, good luck to us all and goodbye
I am listening to campaign 4 of Critical role atm, And i really like the fairy in it, so that’s what i decided to go for here. I also really like the mischievous nature of fairies and how they can be.
I decided to go for a pixie like look with butterfly wings in a cyberpunk settings where augments might enable people to fly with wings like this.
The sparkles coming off the wings are more of an environment piece just do add something to the presentation, but overall it is not included in the main character.
Devi is an evil spirit in Georgian mythology and folklore. Devis are zoomorphic creatures with horns and multiple heads (sometimes up to one hundred :D). Their strength increases with the number of heads they possess. When a head is severed, a new one immediately grows in its place. They are often depicted as underground dwellers, ancient and powerful, embodying oppression, chaos, and raw force.
Devi whose countless heads once devoured the depths of the earth, now reborn as a machine that burrows through worlds in search of resources to fuel new wars.
This character was fully designed and made by me, based on Flipped Normals event Myths Reimagined.
Tris count - 140,698

His lungs still hurt with every breath, even after all this time. Athena had tricked him, taking over the Undercity by releasing a gas that contaminated every room in the vault where Ares and his men were staying. Right before the attack, every one of his men died.
A day Ares will always remember… a day Ares will take revenge for, whatever the cost.
For this project I chose to reimagine the Sphinx! Always a mysterious figure full of wisdom and sometimes malice. I wanted to recreate this figure as a collector of knowledge, histories, and mysteries.
Software used: Zbrush, 3d Coat, Blender, Krita, Marmoset Toolbag 5
Once a human woman, the Manananggal underwent various cybernetic enhancements and procedures to further her career as an assassin. However, in her pursuit for perfection, her latest procedure has left her with a core powered only by blood. Now, she’s forced to drain her victims of their blood to survive.
I made a quick rig to help with posing, then once I got the main idea down, I duplicated the mesh and fine-tuned the deformations. I used Procreate to create my sketch, Nomad Sculpt for high-poly detailing, Maya for retopo, rigging, and posing, Instamat, Mari, and Photoshop for the textures, and Marmoset Toolbag to render everything.
