Myths Reimagined - Saci Perere

Lore : Saci Perere is a character very known from Brazilian Folk Culture. Most of the time he`s represented as a Kid with only one leg that wears a red clothing, smokes in a pipe and plays pranks in people and animals. Some versions tells he`s also able to control the wind and is a protector of Amazonia Forest.

In this not so distant future, the civilization ran out all its natural resources, including Amazonia forest. Saci couldn`t help this unfortunate future, so each time Amazonia was attacked, he became more and more violent. Nowdays he became a creature of Vengeance, promissing to annihilate the responsables for destroying his home.

Last week i made this first iteration to see what i could come up with the theme and the myth. But i soon realized it was lacking what i believe Saci is

So i made a second iteration and im liking what i achieved so far. First i thought of Saci getting a second leg due to elemental wind. But for a futuristic look, i think made more sense to see a leg cyberpunk augmentation. I’m thinking here that perhaps Saci would be the main character for Assassins Creed Cyberpunk sorta of, lol. Turned his hat more like a Green Goblin type of hood and thats what i’m at so far.

Here’s another update of the progress. Spent sometime making the silhouette better and designing the composition of the character. Since Saci hasnt one of the legs, i decided to make emphazis in showing his robot leg, like he just came out from the augmentation shop and shread one side of his pants. But the leg itself i havent touched so im going for there next.

Still not sure if im going for dreads, might be too much info on the face with hood and all. I’m thinking going for a short hair. Thoughts ?

Some progress for the Cloth. Was taking the proper time to restudy cloth and ways to apply in a stylized way. Not finished but right now i will focus to “level up” the hardsurface aspect of the character
