Hey everyone!
I know this is super late but I just found out about this lol…
Anyway the myth I chose is Chaneques. According to the legend they are mischievous, child-size creatures that resemble elves. They live in forests and rivers and like to have fun messing with people. Most of them are pretty chill, they will just hide your belongings or spook you at night. But others might lure kids in a playful way to trick them into entering the forest to never be seen again or steal their souls.
Here are some references I gathered and it’s pretty much all I got for now. I’m still working on a concept and I’m kind of panickingly speedrunning this challenge since there’s only like two weeks left
