[Warlock Challenge] - [Gneetz Roteye]

“Listen to me, goblin. You’re stupid, let’s accept that and move on.”
― Eoin Colfer, [The Eternity Code]

I know im “a tad late”, but here we go.

I decided to go for a “goblin shaman” type of character since that’s what the whispers in my head told me to do. I jumped into this challenge with little or no concept other than a very loose moodboard, clumped toghether in one very long and dark night. This was a new approach to me (since i usually like to draw and juggle different concepts alot) and during the weeks working with this project it became very clear that it contained plenty of pittfalls. It was despite the difficulties quite fun to work on due to the quite broad guidelines.

Here is the first sculpt done in zbrush.

Focusing on sculpting the head and introducing some quite fancy jewlery (for a goblin that is).

Aaaand time to move on to maya for some low poly props. A staff and a grimoire…ahhh classic.

Retopoed model and my feeble attempt to rig the little fella.
