W.I.P 10 : Fine Detailing in Substance Painter

The colors you see on the character’s body; Actually, these colors are different fill layers with different textures! Because every part of the body has different details, for example, one part of the body looks like orange skin, but another part looks like leather!

I don’t usually use zbrush for the fine details of the character’s skin (of course, I may use it in certain cases), because we have polygon limits in zbrush, but there are no limits in substance (for example, we import a 10k texture into substance, and when outputting, we can output whatever quality we want) and it is much more modifiable, for example, their intensity or the position and scale of the details on the skin ! inside Zbrush, if you sculpt some details incorrectly, you cannot change them unless you smooth and sculpt again… and this is terrible :joy: :face_vomiting:

In this test rendering, it is a material model that includes a default Principled BSDF with SSS and, of course a Displacment map And nothing else!
The purpose of this rendering is to adjust the depth of the details and remove the artifacts!

Hello evryone

I haven’t been active for a while and maybe some people think that maybe I gave up on the challenge, but that’s not the case. :grin: HAHA
I am currently rendering the character itself. I took inspiration from the movie for the background and modeled the corridor that was in the movie and I wanted to bring the character in that corridor and render it, but it was a bit heavy and the rendering time and rendering quality were not what I wanted. So I decided to convert the scene I made to HDRI and use the corridor as HDRI to put behind the character and use it as lighting.

Extending the challenge for 2 days. In these two days, I did a lot of work and made a fairy model! I did texturing and then put it in blender and posed it
I did all of these in a day and a half
All models, including Pale Man himself, are all rigged
.
Of course, the fairy model I made is a simple model and doesn’t have many details because I knew I was going to give it motion blur…

It was really hard, but it was good.
My project is about a Del Toro movie (Pans Labyrnth) character called PALE MAN. I actually modeled 3 things from the movie, one is the Pale Man, the other is his palace(Modeled then converted to HDRI and used behind the character), and I also modeled the fairies in the movie.
