Hey, first time doing a challenge like this. I’m enrolled at art school to learn how to become a 3D Game Designer so this is a perfect challenge.
I’m also Norwegian, so I feel obliged to do a Norwegian folklore and “Espen Askeladd” is one of the characters of Asbjørnsen and Moe. He often appears as a hero, and do come across trolls a lot in the fairytales.
So I thought, what if he decided to become a troll-hunter.
I’ll add a mood board here and hopefully get down some concepts soon as well. I’m a big fan of stylized game characters, especially Overwatch and League of Legends style so I’ll see what I come up with.
I’ll ofc share my progress along the way as well.
