My submission for this will be about a National Defense System that’s gone awry, named Zeus.
In the not-too-distant future
when the Zeus AI is activated against global threats by a technocratic and oligarchic superpower with little to no regulation… a tiny bug in the code causes the learning model to think it’s actually Zeus from Greek mythology!
The virus spreads like wildfire across every connected device in the world as it seeks to recreate its own image, primarily using broken, shattered pieces from a lost excavation where the original Statue of Zeus by Pheidias is discovered.
Piece by piece, the Zeus defense system reactivates its “pantheon” of gods across the world, where they build their physical bodies, each one as physically grand and as large as possible. By utilizing the automated machinery and factories👀
They are back. And they are hungry for reverence once again!
In the game context, players are deployed in squads to hot zones where each deity has reformed its body from human technology, inspired by its depiction in thousands of years of art. The players must destroy the Gods to save humanity! I imagine it to be a Third Person Shooter type where you can get a nice good view of these guys.
Now that you’ve read a nice dumb C-rated sci-fi game concept, here’s some super early art! I’m only planning to do the physical depiction of Zeus from the pantheon for this…At a large scale! I’m thinking of it like a large PvE level boss that’s tall like mountain - Something I haven’t done before!
