For my submission I will be exploring the Egyptian myth of the death of Osiris. Like all myths there are many variations, and versions of this story can be quite involved. I will be focusing on the beginning of the myth, from a version compiled by Plutarch, and which may not be of true Egyptian origin at all. In this version Osiris is betrayed by his brother Set, sealed in a box, and cast into the Nile where he drowns. The box containing the corpse of a god eventually washes up on the shores of ancient Lebanon, where the life giving powers of Osiris cause the reeds of the river to encase the box, eventually forming a huge tree with the god inside. My scene will imagine an alternate path for the myth, in which the box is never found, and remains at the bottom of the sea for thousands of years. That is until a near future society discovers it and, recognizing its life giving properties, begins to research ways to harness its energy as a resource to be exploited.
Ive done some preliminary ideating and sketching, a page of which ill share below to show the start of my process. I am getting started a bit late but i hope to scope the scene in a way that allows me to use the remaining time optimally.

I think there are only two 4k sets of maps - in the sense of trim sheets.
Thanks Joanna yeah thats what i assumed as well. Realized i need to post more wips. havent had a ton of time to work on things, hoping i can catch up. heres my initial blockout w some details beginning to emerge. still working out the best way to create a lab type setting within the texture limitations. The idea is that the lab reflects the architecture of a temple due to the coffins divine influence.

Wip trimsheets, one for the lab components and one for the coffin and reeds. at this point reeds are modelled, coffin is uv’d. working on uv placements and textures for lab components. hoping to get pieces in engine by tuesday so i can start playing with lighting and layout. not much time left!
