Hi for my character I have chosen to create a futuristic Khepri!
Khepri was an Egyptian god who was know for being a creator, protector, sun god and god of resurrection. Khepri was one of the solar deities, connected to the sun and creator of the world. Whilst the other deities represented the midday sun and evening sun Khepri represented the morning sun. Due to no knowledge of Scarab Beatles laying their eggs in dung-balls and sunrise, the Egyptians believed that the sun and scarab emerged from nothingness, explaining why Khepri is depicted with a scarab head. Scarabs were also given to Egyptians for good fortune and protection, most were decorated with a shade of blue, hinting to the sky and heavens (cycle of life and death).
Stories of Khepri include thoes of the life and death cycle, resurrecting other gods and leading them out from the underworld!
