Hello everyone! So here’s my first WIP for my entry into the contest. I chose to adapt the Wendigo, specifically the version of it portrayed on the collaborative writing community SCP Foundation. The final piece will be a render of the Wendigo running loose inside one of the Foundation’s clandestine facilities used to contain and study anomalous creatures.
I chose to take a different route from how the Wendigo is usually portrayed, going for something “sexy but creepy” while staying mostly faithful to the description of it on the SCP Foundation, where it is referred to as SCP-323 “The Wendigo Skull”. In that context, the entity is a otherworldly deer skull that compels individuals into jamming it onto their faces, where the skull effectively pilots the host while warping their body into a cannibalistic apex predator.
