The tale of the Bamboo Cutter is one of my favourite fairy tales. To reimagine Princess Kaguya, I will draw inspiration from Queen Padme Amidala to make her a princess in space. I will be influenced by elements found in Japanese historical fashion and some of the motifs found in Padme’s costume design. I hope to make an iconic character that will show both influences equally.
